Life Saving Information: Building First Aid Awareness from Day One

The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "Life Saving Information" (Project No: 2024-3-TR01-KA152-YOU-000290673), coordinated by Taşköprü Pompeipolis Motorcycle Users Solidarity Association, officially started in Kastamonu, bringing together young participants from Türkiye, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Ukraine. The project is implemented in partnership with Germany, Spain, Türkiye, Ukraine. Its main objective is to raise young people's awareness of first aid, road safety, and emergency response while promoting international cooperation and active citizenship.

The first day focused on helping participants get to know one another and building a strong foundation for intercultural cooperation. Through ice-breaking activities and team-building exercises, young people from different countries established meaningful connections while learning about each other's cultures and experiences.

Participants also received comprehensive information about the Erasmus+ Programme, the Youthpass certificate, and the overall objectives of the project. Interactive sessions encouraged them to relate the concept of first aid to the competences they are expected to develop throughout the mobility.

During the creative workshop, international teams collaborated to design posters reflecting the project's core message. Working together encouraged creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving while highlighting the importance of life-saving knowledge in everyday life.

The day concluded with a reflection session, where participants shared their first impressions and expectations. They emphasized that the knowledge and experiences gained throughout the project would not only benefit their personal development but also contribute to raising awareness within their local communities after returning home.
