The Sustainable Youth Movement project (Reference No: 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000297338) was implemented in Córdoba, Spain, from 09.10.2025 to 16.10.2025 under the Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange programme, hosted by IF Asociación. The project brought together participants from Azerbaijan, Germany, Spain, Türkiye, Ukraine. The initiative aimed to strengthen young people's knowledge and skills related to environmental sustainability, climate action, and eco-friendly lifestyles while promoting intercultural dialogue, active citizenship, and international cooperation.
A dedicated session on the Youthpass Certificate encouraged participants to reflect on the knowledge, skills, and experiences they had gained throughout the project. Using the framework of the eight key competences, participants evaluated their personal learning journeys and identified areas of growth and development. This reflection process helped make the outcomes of non-formal learning more visible and provided valuable insights that can support their future educational and professional paths.
Participants also shared their experiences and learning achievements related to environmental sustainability, renewable energy, carbon footprints, the impact of fossil fuels, and environmentally friendly practices. Evaluation activities allowed them to assess the extent to which the project objectives had been achieved while highlighting the personal and collective impact of the exchange. Feedback from participants demonstrated significant growth in environmental awareness, teamwork, communication, and international cooperation skills.
A cultural exploration of Córdoba offered participants the opportunity to discover the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage. By visiting important landmarks and experiencing local traditions, young people gained a deeper understanding of Spanish culture while strengthening the friendships and connections they had built throughout the project. The experience showed that intercultural learning extends beyond workshops and can be found in everyday interactions and shared experiences.
The certificate ceremony and closing gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the project. The knowledge acquired, the skills developed, and the international networks established throughout the Erasmus+ experience inspired participants to continue taking an active role in promoting sustainability and positive change within their communities. The friendships, memories, and shared learning experiences created during the project will remain valuable outcomes long after the mobility has ended.
